I suppose that's referring to the rubber band driving the main spinning brush? Would I need to void my warranty by attempting this repair? I suppose there is a screw under the serial number sticker? He solved it by opening the robot and 'putting the rubber band back on the track': I'm not sure to trust anything that is 'cloud' connected, as over the air updates can break your product and you can be left with a brick after warranty if the manufacturer decides to terminate their cloud service.ДЇor people following along, I just found someone reportedly having the same issue as me. I'm also looking at the Xiaomi Rockbot, which also has a lidar and realtime cartography feature but it's a bit more expensive. Dumb Roombas seem very reliable, so I may go that route. I'll be getting a refund from Amazon and order a dumber robot vaccum for around the same price that doesn't rely on 'connected' access. I've contacted Neato customer support, they can arrange for a repair since I have 90 days of warranty on this product. The bot is in mint condition, the filter and brush have absolutely no signs of dust. I got it from Amazon, it's previously used. Yes, I tried soft and hard resetting it a few times.Д®DIT: Contacted Neato they said it must be sent for repair. I called Neato customer support, they can arrange a repair but I rather avoid that if any of you heard about this issue and have ideas for a fix.

Does any of you have any idea how to fix it? I suspect it's something to do with the firmware since the Neato doesn't even move or make any noise.
